The main specialized forum PCVExpo'2011 has completed its work in Moscow on November 3, 2011.

Contract of partnership between SME Tomsk Electronic Company and Construction Department for Mining-and-Metallurgical Equipment founded by Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been concluded on October 20, 2011.
The aim of this partnership is organization of joint production and realization of new type equipment for mining-and-metallurgical industry on the territory of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan and beyond their limits.
The 16th International Exhibition - Surgut. Oil and Gas - 2011, which is the greatest specialized event focused on development of fuel and energy complex of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District - Yugra and Russia in whole - was held on September 28-30, 2011.
On the 15th of September 2011 SME TEC has won a tender for making a contract with OAO Kombinat Magnezit - “Supply and assembling of the equipment, start-up and commissioning on the object “PCS of Multiple-Bedded Furnace Complex with capacity of 100,000 tons per year. Supply and assembling of the equipment, start-up and commissioning. TsMP-2”.
The III International Salon for Rail Techniques and Technologies "EXPO 1520" was held in the town of Scherbinka outside Moscow from 7th to 10th October. This significant event was organized on the premises of the Experimental Ring, branch of the Railway Research Institute and dedicated to the latest achievements of rail technology, infrastructure, services, and logistics.
The visit to the company as a part of tour including a number of industrial companies of regional center took place on the 25th of August. Andrey Shestakov, the Director General of Tomsk Electronic Company, has performed the presentation about the business of the company and told about financials and innovations in production.
In June 2011, Tomsk Electronic Company made a delivery of plate feeder for charge loading into high-temperature furnace of foundry-rolling complex of OAO OMK-Steel (city of Vyksa).
This year the team of employees of Tomsk Electronic Company took part in twice in Mayevka 2011 meeting of young professionals organized by Tomsk Oblast Administration. Gathering took place on the 18th-19th of June in the countryside near the village of Kaltay.
On May 23-27 specialists of SME TEC paid a visit to the city of Ufa, capital of Bashkortostan Republic. The goal of this visit was to take a part in the XIXth Exhibition for Gas, Oil, Technologies as well as anniversary celebration of GUP Institute of Petrochemistry RB. This year the Institute celebrates its 55th anniversary.
On May 27 SME TEC held a fest for children of company employees. About 100 kids participated in this traditional sixth event preceding Children's Day. The youngest one has just reached 8 months! The oldest was 14 years old.
In this April Tomsk Electronic Company was awarded with the contract for designing, manufacturing, supplying and commissioning of the manipulator and transportation equipment for nondestructive testing units of railroad wheels for locomotives of high speed trains.
On May 18-20 the IXth International Exhibition of Equipment and Technology for Mining, Metallurgy and Coal Industries took place in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
On April 7, 2011 at the facilities of GNC VNIIMETMASH (Moscow) the annual meeting of members of International Union of Metallurgical Equipment Producers of Metallurgmash was held in order to summarize outcomes of 2010 and set up goals for 2011.
The Certificate has been obtained confirming that Russian River Register declares that SME TEC Ltd. is allowed to perform certain types of work in accordance with Rules of Russian River Register.
The following certificates have been obtained:
- Certificate permitting development of design documents for construction, upgrade and major overhaul of hazardous, highly technical and unique permanent buildings, affecting safety of these buildings
- Certificate permitting development of design documents affecting safety of permanent buildings
