RemTEK-02 Electric Drive

Explosion-proof multiturn, turning, linear RemTEK-02 electric drives are aimed to regulate pipeline valves and fittings with diameter from 25 to 200 mm, in explosion hazardous areas of class 1 and 2 as per GOST P 51330.9-99 in severe operating conditions with enhanced ambient temperature ranges (from -60 to +50 °С).
Application - Butterfly valves, ball valves, process parameter (pressure, flow rate) regulating valves, stop valves (wedge valves, sliding shutter etc), including emergency shutdown system (ESD).
There are four modifications of the electric drive depending on the type of motor control: V, S, M and R. The electric drive of V modification with built-in frequency converter is recommended for use to resolve adjustment issues. Electric drives of S, M and R modifications are recommended to control stop valves.

Basic Functions
- Pipeline valves control with switching off as per position and torque (S, M and R modifications)
- Pipeline valves control and adjustment of torque, rate, position (V modification)
- Adjustment of process parameters (pressure, flow rate, temperature) by built-in PID controller (V modification)
- Full protection of electric motor
- Remote control of electric drives through in-built input/output unit including the following depending on the interface signals:
- - Analog control 4...20 mA
- control and alarming through digital inputs/outputs
- Built-in interfaces RS-485 (Modbus RTU) и CAN
- Control of the electric drive from built-in control panel, from RC or standby manual control unit
- Automatic braking of the output element in the event of power loss for linear and turning modifications
- Self-diagnostics of emergency and potential emergency situations and their storing in the "black box" with time references

Features
RemTEK-02 electric drive of V modification and design 2 is based on frequency converter with in-built vector control algorithm.
- Electric motor variable-frequency control enables developing accurately and pliably the law of output element travel with rotation torque and rate adjustment in accordance with three-zone travel chart
- Rate changes within the ranges from 10 to 200% to ensure accurate valve gate positioning and reaching the required cutoff time
- Electric drive maximum torque can be achieved at currents not exceeding double rated current of the electric motor. Starting currents do not exceed the motor double rated current. This decreases power substation load and throttles entrance cable
- Electric drive maximum torque is maintained when sagging to minus 50% out of the rated torque
- Continuous control (0,5 MOhm) of electric motor winding insulation resistance
- Electric motor availability control
- Setting up ESD system trip points

RemTEK-02 electric drive of R modification and design 2 is based on electronic torque and position gage with the function of electric motor control via external solenoid starter.
- Electric motor switching off when exceeding the set torque or position limit
- Supply voltage - 380 V

RemTEK-02 electric drive of V modification and design 5 is based on the frequency converter.
- Electric motor variable-frequency control enables developing accurately and pliably the law of output element travel with rotation torque and rate adjustment in accordance with three-zone travel chart
- Rate changes within the ranges from 1 to 100 % to ensure accurate valve gate positioning and reaching the required cutoff time
- Travel time can be setup within ranges from 6 to 600 seconds
- Electric drive maximum torque and speed are maintained when sagging to minus 50 % out of the rated torque
- Continuous control (0,5 MOhm) of electric motor winding insulation resistance
- Electric motor availability control
- Setting up ESD system trip points
- Graphical intuitive interface (four-row indicator)
- Secure manual standby with automatic silent switch on and off
- Additional mechanical indicator to show the position of electric drive output element
- Nonvolatile position sensor
- Supply voltage is 220V

RemTEK-02 electric drive of S, M modifications and design 6 is based on the thyristor voltage converter.
- Smooth start
- Electric motor switching off when exceeding the set torque or position limit

Modifications for interface signals 54, 55 can be operated with fire alarm units like Signals by Bolid or something similar.
