SDU Universal Batching Control System
SDU Universal Batching System is aimed to ensure continuous dosing of bulk materials or dosing with specified metrological characteristics being a part of continuous belt or hopper batcher.
Operation Features
- modular construction concept of the SDU allows to solve variety of tasks by collecting units with the right functions and gives the opportunity of rapid recovery of the SDU through the faulty unit replacement
- onboard construction of the SDU batcher or weights reduces assembling expanses of integrated cable system, increases accuracy of weighting and batching
- bussed link between units gives an opportunity to use units that are not part of the SDU to enhance the functionality
- large set of communication interfaces with upper level allows embedding SDU into existing automation system of the enterprise
- ability to install additional discontinuous units of input and output and direct control with additional VU equipment
- a wireless interface allows automatically join the SDU in a local network without laying connector cables
- ability to control frequency drive by current signal of 4-20 mA or via digital interface RS-485
- operating temperature range from minus 40 to plus 50 °C within the specified accuracy
- full software compatibility with existing control systems based on control system SD-01 gives an opportunity to replace the controllers, at the end of their life time, not only with the minimal cabinet retrofitting, but also with the software expanses

Operation mode
- "Automat"- main mode for automated batching or weighting of material, register and transfer of data to the upper level
- "Manual" - turning off control functions by batching or weighting is necessary for manual control of belt motion during the maintenance
- "Check-out" - measurement and control channels set-up, calculation of main parameters of batcher or weights ( for example, maximum speed of the belt, weight measuring system set-up and etc.)

Design
Onboard version of SDU is performed in the form of body frame with cable entries and modes switches with modular batching controller inside (KDM). Onboard SDU is located directly on the design of batcher or weights. In the cabinet SDU is located on the Din -toothed rack next to batcher(weights) or at a distance of them.
