Functions
- Power distribution, connected lines protection from overloading and short circuit
- Provision of automatic, manual local and manual remote mode for equipment control
- Indication of connected lines status on cabinet front panel
- Group lines separation over facilities wherein they are located
- Automatic shutdown of selected equipment groups belonging to process and electric equipment units on fire alarm or gaseousness signal incoming from PCS
- Variable-frequency control of pumps rotation speed. Control is carried out by means of Hitachi J200 frequency converter (PCh). PCh control is performed by BR-03 control blocks produced by SME TEC Ltd. There is also RS485 Modbus RTU outlet to connect with PCS

Construction
SSU is a cabinet dimensioned as 600x1800x(+200-socket)x600 mm (WxHxD). Cable inlet from below. Components of the firms mentioned below were used as electrics components: WAGO, Finder, Phoenix Contact, IEK etc. Components are located on main and side mounting panels of cabinet. Elements for indication and power consumer control are located on cabinet's door. Inlet and outlet of connected lines are performed through screw terminals.
