Nondestructive Inspection Laboratory of SME TEC has been already testing pipes for oil and gas facilities for more than a year.
In December 2009 the Laboratory got the formal permission to implement some new control techniques.
At present Nondestructive Inspection Laboratory is authorized to test welded connections, equipment and materials by nondestructive techniques (VMC, RT, UST, LPI) during manufacturing, repair, upgrade and examination of the following facilities:
Oil and gas equipment
Equipment within various hazardous facilities
Lifting equipment (lifting cranes and handling facilities)
