In this April Tomsk Electronic Company was awarded with the contract for designing, manufacturing, supplying and commissioning of the manipulator and transportation equipment for nondestructive testing units of railroad wheels for locomotives of high speed trains.
The customer in this project is Ma Steel International Trade & Economic Corporation (Maanshan, China) - one of the largest engineering corporations in China, producing about 1 million wheels per year.
Despite the fact that such companies as GÜDEL и BLEICHERT were bidders in this tender, within the next 12 months it will be TEC designing general logistics for nondestructive testing operations for one of metallurgy works of Chinese corporation. For SME TEC this project presents consistent development in designing and supplying robotic systems for metallurgy and engineering industry. Our company has already supplied similar equipment for Nizhny Tagil Metallurgy Works.
