In June 2011, Tomsk Electronic Company made a delivery of plate feeder for charge loading into high-temperature furnace of foundry-rolling complex of OAO OMK-Steel (city of Vyksa).
This equipment will replace an Italian vibrating feeder which was previously installed at the enterprise. The new plate feeder must reduce considerably furnace idle time resulting from failure of vibrating feeder. Air temperature in the point of material dumping into furnace by feeder may attain 300 °С.
