Modern science-intensive business of Tomsk Electric Company requires highly qualified and creative personnel. It is important for students to get to know and understand different development works and work requirements of the employer well ahead of graduation from the University. It allows students to understand their interests and set a goal for their future perspectives.

There were 11 undergraduate and master students of engineer specialties at the meeting. Sergey Khlyst - technical director of the Company gave a speech to students as you can see below.

"Tomsk Electronic Company has a dominant name in technology field that means standards of high quality. Products of the Company are represented in each part of Russian Federation". He gave a detailed story about history of the Company, its approach and promising directions of work. He talked about such business unit as rails' heat treatment, and cooperation with such countries as Turkey and China. Also he discussed perspectives of young specialists in the company.  The perspectives are based on personalized approach, and wide range of opportunities that allow an employee to develop professionally and more over develop personal skills. Experienced employee always becomes a mentor of a new one. There are also such opportunities as to attend conferences, exhibitions and qualification courses which is also very important.

Vladimir Zamulin chief of electric drive and automation department gave more detailed presentation of the Company and talked about production capacity, laboratories, software products, and technologies that are used in SME TEC. Afterwards students were taken for an excursion to the shops to see actual production process.

As a present for their visit visitors received brand souvenirs.

The next stage of getting employed for the students is to go for an individual interview where students shall show their experience, expertise, professional skills and personal characteristics.
